Physical Activity Participation

With FUTP 60 Funds, our school created "Indoor Recess Kits" for classes on rainy days. The kits include a game book with directions and equipment needed. Each game keeps kids moving in a small space.  The equipment includes bean bags, poly spots, soft balls, large tic tac toe boards, reaction balls, balloons, and a carrying case.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The Indoor Recess Kits will be used year-round during rainy days and cold weather days when students aren't able to go outside.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are more active when indoors due to the new game choices. Teachers are also using the equipment to help with some of their lessons!
