Physical Activity Participation

The Celebration K-8 School had a fun "Ramp Up for Recess" kick off event today for all seven 1st grade classrooms, with the participation of six parent volunteers. The students got to test their soccer, basketball, football, pogo ball, jump rope and hula hoop skills, and hopefully get inspired to pursue these activities during recess! Thank you Fuel Up to Play 60!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Finding volunteers and planning the event was a lot of work but we were so happy to make it happen!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

To make sure that students are accountable for the recess equipment, each grade received a pack of equipment and students are responsible for returning all the equipment for their grade after recess.
