Access to Healthy Foods

Students created posters promoting eating healthy and being active throughout the building. We had a contest for students to create and send in videos promoting healthy snack choices. Our principal and librarian were part of the best video!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

I helped students create a promotional video for FUTP 60 and for the healthy snack contest. Students and adults created videos promoting healthy snack choices.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We didn't receive as many video submissions as I expected, so I had to repeatedly send reminder videos. I eventually pulled some students from the team to create a video as a group.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

I want students to catch fellow students in the act of making healthy snack choices so we can share those experiences with the entire school.
