Community Involvement

We are just beginning to partner with Fuel Up to Play 60 and our school afterschool program. Highfields, Inc., a nonprofit social service agency in our area, conducts an afterschool program in our elementary school that serves 5-7 graders. They eat a meal, have a large group activity, do homework with a certified teacher, and do small group enrichment classes. We will be using many of the wonderful ideas and tools that Fuel Up to Play 60 provides for both large and small group activities. The FLAG Football Kit has already been put to use. The kids love it.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The afterschool program is grant-funded and will continue for three more years.
