Physical Activity Participation

Our school was lucky enough to be chosen for Fuel Up to Play 60 stencils on our blacktop. The interactive stencils include games, exercises, numbers/letters, and nutritional education.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our music teacher has developed a news team of students that sends a live feed to the whole school informing them of the benefits of the program.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This Play is a permanent fixture on our playground and we will continue to push the use of the stencils and the program for years to come.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We had a meeting with teachers and administration about the most effective stencils to use for our school.
