Physical Activity Participation,  Success with Funds

Monforton School continues to experience growing pains each year, due to a shortage of many educational resources. Thanks to FUTP60 we were able to purchase new equipment for recess! Our purchase included new soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, kickballs, jump ropes, cones, and jerseys. Participation in group and physical activities noticeably increased immediately during recess!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults worked together to prepare the equipment for use and maintain proper care of it. Balls were aired up with adult supervision and the school's name was added to each new piece of equipment. Additionally, students were responsible for placing equipment in the ball cart at the end of each school day and bringing the cart inside.
