Physical Activity Participation

A walking/jogging loop was set up on the playground at the beginning of the school year. Students are able to walk/jog laps during recess if they choose. For every 5 laps they walk/jog, they get a sticker to put on an index card. The student in each grade level who travels the most miles by the end of the school year will receive a prize!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and teachers worked together because the teachers were responsible for supplying the index cards each day. In some cases, the teachers traveled laps with the students.
