We formed a walk of wellness club that encourages students, staff and community members to walk every Wednesday before school. We also pick hiking locations that we can all walk on Saturdays to increase our movement.
What improvements have you seen at your school?
I have seen that most people are really excited about walking and tracking their steps via fit bits, or other types of trackers. The students are excited to see adults from our staff and the community get involved in making healthy lifestyle changes.
