South Elgin High School of SD U-46 is very excited to announce the first roaming smart snack carts in the district. This will be a wonderful addition to our 2 breakfast carts. The snack cart will go to study halls on the 1st level from 12:15-1:45 and it will then be in the commons from 2:45 – 3:10. We offer a large variety of snacks and beverages. You may pay cash or use the money that is on your account.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This will be an on going FST position.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The cart increased our sales by $150.00 a day the first month.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Students being late to class was a problem but we now use a flag on the cart. Once the flag appears, sales have to stop.
