Our FUTP 60 Wellness Council hosted a Healthy Holiday Challenge the month of December for all students. Students were given a log to track their participation. Each student was asked to consume at least 2 servings of dairy, 2 fruits and 2 vegetables each day, along with at least 60 minutes of activity and 8 hours of sleep each night. Prizes were randomly drawn for those who participated and the classroom with the greatest participation received free passes to a jumping park. Throughout the month, the Student Wellness Council made morning announcements encouraging students and provided fun facts about nutrition, physical activity and sleep.
