Community Involvement

We have many adults who join us on the track during running club every Wednesday morning at 7 AM. They walk or run with the students for about 20 minutes. It really shows the students how important it is to stay active as an adult.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We invited parents to join our students on the track.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Word of mouth and parents encouraging each other to come out to the track to walk/run together.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Over time, the parent numbers have increased.
