Running For a Cause
The Liberty Elementary School family came together and raised money for our students. The 1st combined Fun Run and Field Day were held in the fall of 2018. It was a joint effort among students, staff, and our PTA community. It was truly a “teamwork makes the dream work” effort by all those who were involved. The students gathered and collected money. The teachers helped motivate the students with contests, and the PTA organized and ran the event. The day ran very smoothly and was capped off by our principal participating in a color run. The students could pay extra money to throw packets of colored powder at him as he jogged by. It was truly icing on the cake as every child had a smile on their face. It reminded us all that TOGETHER we can accomplish all things.

How did students and adults work together as a team?
