Fuel Up to Play 60 en espanol has offered so many opportunities for our students. These opportunities include leadership roles, a club to belong to, and a great motivator to get kids active. The first accomplishment this Fuel Up to Play 60 en espanol is it brings out the inner leader in each student. Also this club gives a way for students that aren’t involved in any other sport or club the opportunity to belong to something that will benefit them beyond the classroom. Last but not least these students are now more motivated to participate in physical activity as they have gain knowledge in how great it is to get at least 60 minutes of play a day. Using the 100 Mile Club Play from Fuel Up to Play 60 en espanol has truly motivated the students to reach a goal personally and as a team.

How did you accomplish your goals?

I accomplished my goal by getting the students involved, also making the activities fun and engaging.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

To keep physical activity plan I will always keep our mile tracker updated, also making weekly announcement of runner of the week. Keep having kids come up with new ways to recruit.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The challenges were kids understanding the registration part and what needs to be completed to become Ambassadors.
