We have a walking club that every school in the district participates in. We have always had low participation. After introducing the Fuel Up to Play 60 program we have seen a dramatic increase in participation.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

It will always be there. Most students enjoy it. To get more students to participate we plan on letting the kids participate in the paid portion of the program. Being a title 1 school, some will not be able to afford it. Through grants and fundraising I hope to give every kid and opportunity to participate.
