Breakfast – Grab and Go!

Our student team saw the need for our late arriving students to be able to eat breakfast. We met with our principal and nutrition manager and developed a plan. Our Fuel Up to Play 60 team is now assisting our nutrition staff in assembling the Grab and Go Breakfasts each morning for those students who arrive after breakfast.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our student team worked with the principal and nutrition manager to help devise a plan to provide breakfast for late arriving students.

How did you accomplish your goals?

On average, we are serving 30-40 breakfasts to those students who may not have had the chance to eat breakfast.
