Physical Activity Participation

Our school used the grant money we received to purchase two permanent outdoor basketballs goals for our students to use at recess. When the playground was too muddy to use our students could only use the bus loop to play in. Walking around and playing tag can be boring to some, but with our grant every classroom now has two basketballs and full access to the goals. Thanks Fuel Up to Play 60!

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal was to help ramp students up for recess. We wanted to allow our students to be able to do more than just play on our small playground or walk laps around our bus loop. We are now able to offer something that our students have never had before.
