Bowden Elem. attended Siclovia in San Antonio. The Siclovia event is where they close the streets for over six hours and people are allowed to exercise by riding bikes, running, skating, or just walking. We took it a step further and danced in the streets to Zumba!!!

How did you accomplish your goals?

Parents who took their children did so with the understanding that they as well had to be active with the group! Everyone had a great time!!!!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

By dual participation in the event and exposure to the activity, mainly because many of the families didn't even know we had this going on within the city.

How did you accomplish your goals?

By practicing throughout the week and inviting parents verbally when possible.
