I created a brochure to make it easy for students to join Fuel Up to Play 60. The brochure tells the students how many feet in a mile, how many laps around Parker Road's track (7&1/2) equals a mile and some great apps to help students track their progress. One app is Charity Miles. It tracks your distance and donates 25 cents per mile to a predetermined charity. I also included a tear-off sheet for students to write down their user name and password for future reference. Attached is a picture of the brochure.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Each year, hoping to get more students signed up and participating.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

I have seen more students signing up to participate in Fuel Up to Play 60.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

I had trouble finding time to help the students get on a computer to be able to sign up. Our FUTP 60 coach came to my school and helped the students get signed up during their physical education class.
