Smart Snacking and Exercizing

A group of students designed flyers to educate the community on healthy snacking vs. junk food snacks and ways to stay active.

How did you accomplish your goals?

For two weeks, the school promoted healthy snacking on campus. Teachers allowed students to have brain breaks during class time, while others had physical fitness activities.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Some of the community helpers and leaders brought unhealthy snacks. We talked to them about our two-week commitment and they tried to provide students with healthier snacks.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are encouraged to continue eating healthy snacks and exercising throughout the day.
