Access to Healthy Foods

We had a school-wide carnival and Fuel Up to Play 60 helped provide the snack for the event. All students and staff were treated to a fresh fruit smoothie! Over 800 were served in out preK-8 school.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We had a core group of students that planned and organized the event. Adults helped things stay on track and made sure things were manageable.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The goal of our activities are to increase the feeling of belongingness that students have with teachers.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We have sustained this carnival for the past 3 years and hope to continue this exciting event that the whole school looks forward to.
