Access to Healthy Foods

This was from our first day in Elementary. We attempted to use the breakfast cart, but size of cafeteria caused a traffic jam of students. This is mainly why we are implementing the cart in the High School instead (more room plus greater advantage).

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Having the smoothies in a different location than the other entrees caused confusion in the Elementary students as well as a traffic ham due to space limit. Solution was to move smoothies into the serving line, which has succeeded. The breakfast cart is used in the high school instead to hopefully a greater advantage!
