The Affton High School Fuel Up to Play 60 team kicked off Fuel Up to Play 60 for Sports night with healthy smoothie samples at lunch. Students handed out blueberry blast and peaches and cream as well as FUTP 60 gear to kick off the day. Each school year, STUCO holds a sports night where classes compete in different sporting events for the ultimate title of sports night champions. There is also an award for most school spirit. The FUTP 60 team thought it would be a great idea to have smoothie taste testing and free samples given out at lunch to promote the smoothies that are sold during breakfast, and to FUEL UP for the annual sports night.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

AHS students and staff loved trying the smoothies and more students are excited to eat breakfast in the morning. Affton High School's food service stated that the breakfast line has gotten much longer due to the smoothies. Students are excited to try new smoothie flavors that can be made fresh daily in the cafeteria.
