Students at Lovettsville Elementary made a smoothie order form that had a choice of two simple smoothie recipes. They traveled to every classroom and took pre-orders. Then ingredients where prep'd the day before. On "Smoothie Day", the Student Ambassadors helped make the smoothies and delivered them to each teacher that placed an order. We collected a $3 donation from each order. We earned a total of just over $100 to be used to help plan the next play.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We worked as a team by allowing the students to make the order form, take orders, prep the food. The Program Advisor operated the blender and collected the money.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to make this a monthly event now.
