My kids love to play soccer. They play at recess or during PE class on Friday. We have free day on Friday, so they can choose what they want to play. Soccer is FUN, so they are having fun and exercising at the same time.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

I teach in a high poverty area. A lot of my kids do not get to go home and go outside to play, so getting outside at school is very important to them and me.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Finding out what the kids enjoy and staying healthy while doing it.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Soccer is a big part of their culture, so I will continue to teach it as long as I am here.
