Souper Bowl of Caring 2019
Our team decided to do a food drive to help our local Social Service organization replenish their pantry. We signed up for Souper Bowl of Caring and K-6 collected soups and non-perishable items along with diapers and toiletries to help families in need within our community. We had fun and each classroom held competitions. We also used the Rams and Patriots to label our barrels to see who our students wanted to win the Super Bowl. We collected lots of food to help our community as a team.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

After Christmas, Lees Summit Social Services is always low on food items and collecting through the Souper Bowl of Caring is a great way to involve students, staff, parents and the community. This is a great way for all of us to work together as a team. The need will be there every year and our school will be here every year to help.
