Spontaneous Healthy Snack and Activity Break

The Fuel Up to Play 60 team decided that they wanted the whole school to stop during the day and get a healthy snack and activity break. The team used the in-school TV system to announce during the day that everyone would stop what they were doing, get up from their desks and follow along with the FUTP 60 team and do a student-led exercise routine and receive an apple when finished.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal was to provide a spontaneous healthy snack and activity during the school day. The team went to the Food Services staff to ask for a donation, which was apples. The team came in before the event and washed all the apples and distributed to all of the classrooms.
