Community Involvement

Students and staff paid 50 cents to wear their favorite sports team shirt or team color

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal was to purchase reusable bags for our local food bank. Our school raised $125.00 and we were able to purchase 125 bags for the food bank.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our student ambassadors walked from our school with our counselor to the food bank to help distribute bags and food for two hours. The students were excited to take part in the monthly food bank and were surprised to see so many people waiting in line at the outdoor food bank. It was a good hands-on lesson for our students and a great way for our school to give back to our community.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This is our second year doing this reusable bag fundraiser. Last year we raised $100.00. Next year, our goal is to beat this year's amount.
