I have been teaching my students about sportsmanship and teamwork, and on Friday after both teams tied a soccer game 2-2, one student stated, "Let's shake hands, that was a good game." I was happy because the students did this on their own. They played the game with teamwork and congratulated each other's efforts in the physical education soccer unit for the day. The great thing about this story is that the students did this on their own. I said to my students, "That is what I'm talking about, that was great game - both teams."

How did students and adults work together as a team?

This past Friday, my students shook each other's hands after a soccer game in physical education. I thought that was great because all of the students gave maximum effort during the soccer game unit.

How did you accomplish your goals?

My students gave a great effort during soccer game in physical education. All students showed sportsmanship and congratulated each other for their efforts during the game.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

My students are realizing that physical education is a very important part of the daily lifestyle. I get great participation during activities and games during physical education classes.
