39 of the 53 students signed up for Fuel Up to Play 60 for the 2016-17 school year came to move 15 yards of mulch and planted seeds in our school garden.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students never complained and used positive encouragement the entire time. They were matched up with a partner for the work experience.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We were able to move all new mulch into the garden and do the planting.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The heat was excessive yet we took a water break and sat in the shade for a bit.
