Start Your Day with a Yogurt Parfait

The FUTP 60 team decided to help boost the breakfast sales at their school by offering a taste test for a new item: a yogurt parfait. The FUTP 60 staff, with the help of the Food Nutrition staff, offered either vanilla or strawberry yogurt with either peaches or pineapple, and the option of adding granola on top. The team served samples at each of the lunches and listened to their peers' feedback regarding whether they would choose the parfait as a breakfast item. The parfait is a complete breakfast as it contains 4 oz of yogurt, a fruit, and a grain. The parfait's were well received and the staff is in the process of working on how this can be a new item added to the breakfast menu.
