One of our Plays this year was In-Class Activity Breaks. All classroom teachers decided to use a minimum of 15 minutes of activity breaks a day, broken up throughout the day at each teacher's discretion. Students were so intrigued by these brain breaks they wanted to create their own for classes around the school to use. Our 4th and 5th grade students created a variety of activity break videos that used different components of fitness which can be used from K-5. They designed, practiced, recorded, and edited the videos. The ownership over their projects was incredible to see and everyone looks forward to getting to use their video in class!
