Student Leaders Sharing the Vision

Our Fuel Up to Play 60 leadership team presented the vision of Fuel Up to Play 60 to the entire school. They developed their presentations and practiced them to be most effective. Our entire student body was encouraged to eat breakfast and be physically active. Each presentation had questions asked and prizes were given out.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our teachers got on board by allowing our Fuel Up to Play 60 leadership team to come take time out of each of their team meetings to speak and promote Fuel Up to Play 60 to their students.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We have allowed our FUTP 60 program to be presented to our entire student body. We know that the students will be more involved and work at making better physical activity choices as well as eating breakfast.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Students had to overcome their fear of sharing in front of people by practicing their speeches and giving them in front of large number of students.
