Student Leadership

I wanted to update my story about the student who started a Fuel Up to Play 60 club. The teacher sponsor who helps with the club stopped me in the hall and said that he is averaging 70-100 students. He said that because there is so much interest, he might have to start doing two meetings a week and work with 35-50 each time. I was thrilled that the students are getting involved. The Ambassador is planning a smoothie day soon as well as a color run. She is amazing.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The student had to reach out to the faculty to get permission for all she does. She meets with me since I am her FUTP 60 advisor and she has a teacher sponsor who helps her conduct her club meetings.
