We hosted a Student vs. Staff Flag Football and Basketball game. It gave our students an opportunity to compete against our teachers. We started with a school wide exercise warm up and pep rally and the students cheered and encouraged their classmates.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are hosting a Student vs. Staff Softball and Volleyball game before the end of year as well as our annual Field Day Combine.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students look forward to competing against teachers. The playful rivalry helps keep students engaged in class and on the field.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

One challenge was trying to build interest in the games. We encouraged students by giving away shirts and healthy treats.
