Our school plants a garden each spring. Kindergarten through fifth graders all work together to plant and maintain the garden during the year. Parents and staff volunteer to care for the garden in the summer. When the students come back in the fall, classes pick the vegetables as needed, and then they are used to send home with students or to cook a snack in class.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Each grade works to plant and care for the garden during the year.
