The students of Imagine Nau Charter School ran to raise money for electronics. Working in connection with Big World Recess every student from the VPK to 8th grade participated in a mini marathon running a total of 35 laps each. In the beginning they did not want to run but then the music came on and the fun began. Grades 6-8's run included a color run. Parents, teachers, and students had a great time.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Parents joined students to motivate them.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Our biggest challenge was getting the children to want to run. The adults made the event fun.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The children feel like the accomplished something. They were able to see the teachers as people and learned that together we can do anything.
