Physical Activity Participation

Our school started a farming project in the courtyard of our school. Students have learned to work together to provide fresh foods for our school and have taken time out of their busy schedules to participate in this adventure. They met with their principal after school, along with parents and grandparents, to learn about farming. 

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students invited parents and grandparents to help till the ground and plant the initial plants in their garden.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Students will volunteer for the project again as our new school year takes off. Our first endeavor is to clear the ground and prepare it for our next planting.
