Students Teaching Teachers
The Rolling Knolls Elementary school, Annapolis, MD FUTP 60 club presented multiple movement activities to over 40 PE teachers in Anne Arundel County Public schools. They taught the teachers ways to move and transition from one activity to the next with minimal talking or stopping.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The FUTP 60 club met with Mr. Acosta (PE teacher & Program Advisor) and planned out the activities that they would teach. The meeting & presentation were in August before the school year started. The kids met with the Program Advisor and they brainstormed what activities to share. The kids lead all the activities and Mr. Acosta just assisted.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The kids were able to give the other PE teachers great activities that they could use at their schools to promote more rigorous physical activity at their school.
