This year we continued the Walking Club concept, or the walk to Mile High challenge, in which students walk around the perimeter of the gym trying to get the amount of miles it would take to get to Mile High stadium. We incorporated our PBIS reward system and handed out stars cards for the students that participate. With the star cards, students can earn prizes every week through drawings. Student leaders now deliver the breakfast in the classroom everyday to teachers around the building as well. The student leaders have done a great job this year!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The main challenge we face is keeping student leaders interested and involved.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to stay with the same plays next year.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults work together at every meeting as well as mornings when we walk.
