Students at Swanson Elementary School have been working really hard in getting more students, parents, and teachers to be active with making posters, to spreading the word, to mentioning it on morning announcements. It's awesome to see that motivation and drive just to help others and make sure their fellow students are healthy and active, not just in Physical Education, but in and out of the classroom as well! Go Superstars!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students met with me during class and during their free time for ideas, showing me their works and brainstorming to help out the student body.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

I have seen more kids not only active at recess but more activity and brain breaks within the classroom and engagement in P.E. as well!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Getting the first few students motivated enough to be able to work towards a common goal of helping and motivating their fellow students!
