Sycamore Hills in Independence, Missouri has gotten a team together for Fuel Up to Play 60. They decided on doing a couple different things throughout the year. At first, they kicked off with Flat KC Wolf to help announce Sycamore Hills is a FUTP 60 school. They promoted healthy snacks by displaying posters. They had the student leadership team encourage their classroom teachers to allow them to choose and lead a Physical Activity Play. They started off the year, making t-shirts to announce FUTP 60.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
The students were encouraged to be the leaders and do the majority of program implementation with adult supervision. It went great!
