T C Eagles for the Win

We have been honored to be one of the chosen schools to receive grant money from the United Dairy Council to make improvements in our food service program and the physical education department. At our Kickoff event, we had a jump rope team come and perform and then the students got to practice jumping rope also. Our food service department served cheese roll ups and fresh fruit at the end of the event. Everyone had a great time and got excited about getting active and eating healthy. Thank you, United Dairy Council, for the opportunity to be a part of something so great.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The food service is using the new equipment to add more choices of fruit, vegetable and dairy products. PE is having a lot of fun with new equipment they purchased to make their recess a more enjoyable time.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will be using the new equipment for years to come to continue the additional choices for students, and the PE program has the opportunity to do the same for many years to come.
