We are fortunate to have free breakfast for all students at our campus. Free breakfast still doesn’t encourage students to come eat. Our student Fuel Up to Play 60 leaders have started " take a friend to breakfast" at our campus. They each invite a few friends who don’t normally eat breakfast at school and ask them to eat with them. It's not only is a good way to make new friends, but it also encourages kids to eat breakfast.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Our goal is for students to understand the importance of a healthy breakfast. Inviting students to enjoy a free breakfast and make new friends is something they can do the rest of their lives. Encouraging students to be kind to each other and learning how to communicate with each other is equally important. These are lifelong skills that a beneficial to a healthy lifestyle. It’s been fun watching the students invite other students to eat with them and seeing how much they enjoy each other’s company
