Community Involvement

Our Fuel Up to Play 60 team came together and thought of different ways we could encourage our students to get active outside of school.  What the idea we came up with was to create a "Take Home Gym", where students could sign out a container filled with all of our favorite PE equipment for the night and have the opportunity to get active at home with their families. Our students presented this to our school and filled the container with equipment they thought would get kids active and off screens. So far it is has been a hit!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan on offering this all school year and continue to offer this next year as well. If it seems to slow down a bit, we will allow families to check it out more than once.
