Team HamCo Squad held the 2015 FUTP 60 Kickoff during National School Lunch Week on Wednesday, October 14 in the cafeteria. 30 students signed up to learn more about FUTP 60 and how to Commit to Be FIT. Student leaders MP and KC were on hand to share with students the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. Students were given the FUTP 60 football card for the instructions for signing up and a team member card to record their username and password. Look for more great things from Team HamCo Squad!!!!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

First of all our principal was very supportive of the event. Program Advisers assisted with set up for the Kickoff. Ms. D was on hand with the students during the student sign up.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The purpose of the Kickoff was to spark the interest of the program. 30 students signed the Kickoff interest form and dozens of others came by to inquire about the program.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The school student groups/clubs are not allowed to meet during a specific class period. The Program Advisers will set up in the cafeteria during lunch to meet with students.
