We decided to help ALL students improve their test scores. All students rotate between 3 stations prior to all testing. One station is a healthy breakfast station, one station is a high energy brain and body activity and one station is a relaxing mindfulness station. FUTP 60 student leaders lead the stations and FUTP 60 funds are used to purchase additional equipment and breakfast items. All students participate with groups of students in their grade and rotate with them through stations. This happens 45 minutes before any testing day.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
We invited the students to be part of the planning committee and take leadersip roles, so they are more invested in the project and feel part of the whole school team.
