The Biggest Loser at North HS
At PSJA North High School, our students have teamed up with our school nurse to activate and promote a new activity to promote weight loss and healthy life choices. The Biggest Loser is a competition between Teachers and students at our campus to see who can lose more weight, but most importantly to encourage themselves and others to make healthier choices.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

With a friendly competitive atmosphere, teachers and students both encouraged each other throughout the process of our activity.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

To ensure this activity lasted throughout the year, we made sure to keep track of our teachers and students progress, using charts and bar graphs to show the student to teacher weight loss ratio.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

At our school, we have seen positive changes throughout. Our campus has become more friendly and healthier with our students and staff. While encouraging a health lifestyle, we also promoted friendship and trust between our teachers and students.
