Copper View Elementary student team decided it was time for more students to get on board with Fuel Up to Play 60. During part of their physical education class time, students made posters to spread the word about the program. Students worked in groups creating multiple posters about nutrition and physical activity. It was nice to see the teamwork in action!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The challenge faced was getting the buy-in from the students on how they can get involved and what rewards and benefits come from the FUTP 60 program. Being able to have students sign up for the program at school was helpful. Getting the team formed and growing worked as well. Also, letting the students complete plays and challenges during school has helped in many ways as well.
