Success with Funds

This is the first year Edison Middle School students have established their very own FUTP 60 club. Students meet after school once a month to create a healthy snack and get moving. During the month of February, these FUTP 60 students created their very own yogurt parfait using a wide variety of healthy and delicious ingredients. Students then came up with healthy heart tips to post around their hallways for all students and staff to see in all parts of our building. Edison FUTP 60 members also encouraged all Panthers to wear red every Friday to promote American Heart Month. The meeting ended with students dancing to music and working out through a series of exercise. Go Panthers!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and staff work together to spread the FUTP 60 mission in a welcoming and positive environment. Students look forward to our monthly meeting where they can create healthy snacks and get moving!
