Tokens for Toes

Our 100 Mile Club is off to a great start this year. Students earn a toe token after every mile they run and they hold their tokens on a chain necklace. Students also get to punch hole in their mileage markers, which are kept on a chart. I am always having students come up to me asking for extra opportunities to run. This is a great program and a fun way to encourage students to track their progress and earn rewards for their hard work.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

At first we found that students were doing great and earning tokens. The problem that we faced was that we were running out of tokens. With the help of our Fuel Up to Play 60 funding, we were able to purchase more tokens.
